Experience & Service Design

Keeping my mind Fed

New design concepts are unlocked through the exposure to ideas, perspectives, experiences, concepts, and stories. Reading stretches my empathy and exposes me to new ideas and worlds I would otherwise not have access to.

(Also, I keep forgetting what books I've read… this list is helping me out.)

on the nightstand:

Smoke Gets In Your Eyes
by Caitlin Doughty

I’ve heard great things about Caitlin Doughty and her positive death movement. Better to be prepared then leave it for your family to sort it out.

Washington Black

by Esi Edugyan

Really excited to read this book. Since hearing an interview with the author I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a copy.

The Gene
by Siddhartha Mukherjee

I got this book for the sole reason is that Siddhartha Mukherjee is a good writer.
