Many systems are fundamentally exclusive. I believe the practice of design holds some of the best tools for uncovering the sources of exclusion and provides rigorous frameworks that can facilitate systemic change.
Much of my free time is spent on seeking or making hobbies; foraging, baking, cooking, reading. Design practice allows me to make a career out of my natural tendency to learn and create.
I'm inspired by the complexity and creativity of the natural world. The interdependencies and entanglements found there can be used to inform how I can approach the human built one.
