I work to improve the world in practical and relevant ways. I focus on finding the truth in problems, digging in to find the why behind challenges. I believe a strong design process is the best tool for discovering, creating, and shipping products that have real meaning and value.

My expertise is in design for the healthcare industry. It’s a messy, difficult, and often frustrating industry, but also has some of the most inspiring and impacting projects. Additionally, I mentor designers and other folks looking to break into UX. I am passionate about creating equitable and ethical workplace cultures.

Originally from the 'burbs of Detroit, I am currently based in Seattle. I graduated from University of Cincinnati's College of DAAP in 2012 with a BS in Industrial Design.

Out of the office, I’m all about exploring tide pools, foraging for dinner, baking complicated Italian things, and reading in the sun.
